So I know you'll all be attending the #superblueferry event hosted by Superstition ReviewBlue Mesa Review, and Hayden's Ferry Review on April 10th @ 10 AM at The Nicollet. But what other offsite events do you not want to miss? To make your AWP-evenings as fun, social, and productive as possible we've compiled a list of the offsite events we are most excited about.

THURSDAY, April 9

Happy Hour with BOMB & One Story 
*5:00 - 7:00 PM @ The Walker's Garden Terrace
*Join BOMB and One Story for a happy hour on the Walker Art Center Garden Terrace. Giveaways, raffles, and a cash bar! Preview current and upcoming exhibitions at the Walker, mingle with BOMB and One Story staff, and win prizes.

Happy Hour Reading with Passages North

Susquehanna University Student, Alumni, and Faculty Reading 
*7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Arcadia Cafe
*Students think, live, and breathe literature for their four years at Susquehanna University in Amish river country. This reading reunites faculty members Glen Retief and Catherine Dent with both alumni and students (including HFR editor Dana Diehl!)

FRIDAY, April 10

2X2 in the Twin Cities: Fairy Tale Review, Gigantic Sequins, Sundog Lit, & Yemassee 
*4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Segue Cafe
*Join 2 great indie journals and 2 great university journals as we present a star-studded AWP reading, featuring: Matt Bell (our faculty advisor!), Carson Beker, Traci Brimhall, Caroline Crew, Alex McElroy (our international editor!), Brian Oliu, Salvatore Pane, and Elise Winn


Bust Magazine and the Loft Present Roxane Gay and Others
*7:00 PM @ The Loft Open Book
*BUST Magazine and The Loft Literary Center present a reading with Patricia Smith, xTx, Roxane Gay, Amber Tamblyn, Franny Choi and host Margaret Cho. Free and open to the public. First-come, first-served seating. Overflow rooms with live feeds will be available.

Newfound, Waxwing, and As/Us reading

Gulf Coast and Copper Nickel’s “Not-Another-Reading” Party

*We get it. Readings are super fun and important. But so is having drinks while looking at art. If you get burned out on the marathon readings, come have a drink and a snack on us. First 50 people through the door get a limited-edition broadside and first 20 nonsubscribers get a dual subscription.

SATURDAY, April 11

The Rumpus and Fence Present GUTTER TALK
