Whatever white knuckling means I just did it.
Revealed my intrinsic quality to myself:
knowing there’s a blizzard, driving anyway.
And laughing out my teeth grindings.
Calm down to a clean chaos, the hypnosis
succumbed to in storms, 20 out of 10 stars. Walk me
to the gas station for a super big cup. Warm me
in your protection. I’m so buff when indignant,
tailing after an impervious emergency vehicle.
Ideal conditions in the gingerbread netherworld:
mediocre degrees out, dead tree skyline.
Acute grey changes that jaundice the lover.
