Two Works by Karen Boissonneault-Gauthier

Bird Calls

Artist Statement:

“Tooth Ache” and “Bird Calls” bring out the dark and whimsical side of my photography. I like changing images so you question what you're seeing. Can you feel the pain in your own teeth yet? If I told you the teeth were from a camel, would that make you feel better? While some get their feathers ruffled when interrupted by phone calls, I think birds like making calls, and would use a phone if they could.
