Laura Gorthaus is a writer and visual artist living in Baltimore on the unceded land of the Piscataway-Conoy. Laura’s work has been featured by The Cincinnati Review, Pleiades, and Fairytale Review. It has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and garnered awards internationally, from Poetry in Pubs in Bath, England to the Nazim Hikmet Poetry Competition in Cary, North Carolina. The Sewanee Writers' Conference has awarded Laura a scholarship for their 2022 summer program.
